  • 500 - Internal server error. There is a problem with the resource you are looking for

    I am using Zoom V7 1020 Enterprise Edition 64bit- Windows 7 64bit.

I have upgraded to Zoom 7 64bit from Zoom 6 32 bit. My Zoom 6 version worked fine and the problems only occurred after the upgrade. My website's www.newparkchildcare.co.uk source code seems to read OK but I might be wrong.
    Many thanks,
    Barry Clutterbuck.

A 500 internal server error is a generic error from your web server. You need your web host to enable error messages to see what is actually the problem.

Otherwise if your web host is unable to enable the error messages, then you will be forced to take wild stabs in the dark and just make sure you have followed the procedure precisely.

For example -- are you sure you have PHP setup and enabled on your server? Were you using PHP with the older installation of Zoom V6, or something else (e.g. JavaScript?) I do not see any other PHP pages on your site to confirm if you have PHP available.

      Hi Ray,
Thanks for your response. Yes I do have PHP enabled on my server and did have with the previous version of Zoom 6. I did try changing to ASP to no avail and have now changed back again. I cannot get my server to give further details regarding this error.

        Hi Ray,
I have since downloaded my web site and tried the zoom on my pc. I get the following page which does not state the version of PHP 5.4 I am using on my web server.

Barry -- the above is not your error page. The above is THIS very web page (our wrensoft forum page) after selecting "View source" in your browser.

Also -- you can't try the Zoom search page on your own PC unless you have a web server installed on your PC and a working PHP setup on your PC. Do you have this?

What did you do when you "try changing to ASP"? You may have broken your previous server configuration in your attempt to do so.

E-mail us directly and provide us with FTP information. We can login and take a look.
