Exclusion wildcard searches

Quick question:

I know you can use "*" to signify "any characters" and "?" to be a wildcard for a single character, but can you search for one keyword and NOT another, like "Ali !Clay" to get pages that have the word "Ali" but NOT "Clay" on them? And if so, what's the character to use, because "!" and "NOT" don't work.

Exclusion searches are one of the new features in the upcoming Version 4.2 release. This allows you to perform searches like "Ali -Clay" by using the negative sign to precede the search term that you wish to exclude.

A beta version of 4.2 is currently available at:

I do not see it in the release notes or the Help pdf. Did it make it into 4.2? I hope so.
