I created a sub domain name called: http://library.ponics.org. The indexing of all the files works perfectly. I tried to create sitemaps also.
1) one for Yahoo in .txt
2) one for Google in .XML
I can create the one in .txt ..but as hard I tried to create one sitemap in XML format it does not works!
I tried:
http://www.ponics.org/library/
http://ponics.org/library/
http://library.ponics.org/
http://library.ponics.org
Error message is:
"Empty XML sitemap created (no valid URLs found). Check if your Sitemap Base URL is incorrect."
I have the latest version, built 1016
I dont index on line. Everything is off line, I mean it is indexed from my computer. I am using categories also.
Again, sorry if I am repeating, the script can create the urllist.txt sitemap but not the sitemap.xml one.
I read the instructions carefully:
http://www.mysite.com/news/index.html
http://www.mysite.com/news/page1.html
http://www.mysite.com/news/archive/test.html
Then you should have your sitemap files hosted at: http://www.mysite.com/news/ and this should be your Sitemap Base URL.
Any help welcome!
