    Indexes html but not shtml

I am presently updating a site from .html to .shtml and HTML5. I have done an initial test using Zoom 8 that is registered to my large site but this site at the moment only has 47 pages so it is just a test.

Zoom will only index 2 pages from index.shtml but all the pages from index.html. Odd.

I then get an internal server error when I run a simple search form so have sent that to the host, unless both are connected.

    Any ideas please?

    Thanks

This was in the log when I ran from index.shtml

(External site - does not match base URL)

My guess is that the base in your Zoom config is HTTP.
But your site is now using the HTTPS protocol.
If this is not the case, can you post the entire log, or Email it to us.

Thanks. I will email both logs. The server support has just said the search.cgi is 32 bit and the server only has 64 bit library.

We've addressed the external site indexing issues by email.

You didn't mention the CGI problem there so I'll answer that here. Under "Configure"->"Start options", click on the Platform radio button for CGI and select the relevant platform in 64-bit. Reindex and you'll get the 64-bit search.cgi.

            I switched to PHP.

Thanks for the prompt and helpful support.
