Problems indexing PDF files

The log indicates that my PDF files are indexed, but the summary statement shows no PDF files indexed. The summary seems to be correct searching the PDF files produces no answers.

Resolved via email.

Problem was due to cookie-based authentication failing, which led to PDF files not downloading (instead, the web site was serving HTML/text messages such as "You are not allowed to download this file") and this was being indexed instead.
