searching for words with å, ä, ö, ü etc.

I have a movie database which I have put on our website, containing titles with the letters ö, ä and ü. At first, I had problems with the links on the search results page being spelled incorrectly. I changed the character setting to ISO-8859-1, which solved this problem. However, if I want to search for, say, Wagner's opera Götterdämmerung, I need to type 'Gotterdammerung' in the search field to receive any matches. Any suggestions how to fix this?

Do you have umlaut insensitivity enabled? Under Configure->Languages.

This should allow both "Gotterdammerung" and "Götterdämmerung" to match.
