.doc extension requires a plugin v7

I'm using v7 but for some reason it will not allow me to add .doc as an extension and suggests that I download a plugin. However, I read that it is already installed in v7, so I'm not sure what to do. The extension for PDFs works fine.

What build of Zoom V7 are you using?

You can find out by going to Help->About.

To begin with, update to the latest build available for your platform, from this page:
        http://www.wrensoft.com/zoom/whatsnew.html

Second, check that you have installed Zoom correctly. Did you copy the program files from one machine to another, or move them from their installation folder? It is important to use the installation package from the website and install it on the machine as suggested.

Let us know if you are still having trouble with the latest build. Also tell us which version of Windows you are using.

Hello Ray - downloading the latest build seems to have fixed the problem - thank you very much. I am using Windows 7 64 bit, btw.
