New Mac search.cgi

I have been a customer of zoom search engine since v4.
I have also upgraded to v7.
I was excited to see that you now include a mac version of the indexer.
But I was very disappointed when I realised that you didn't update the mac version of the search.cgi and we have to use the old version (which is last updated 4 years ago!).
Are there any plans to update the osx search.cgi?

Are you sure you really need it?
I don't know anyone who uses a Mac as a web server. Everyone tends to be on Linux, BSD or Windows.

Or is this for searching a CD/DVD offline?

There are many people who are using Mac as a web server.
A web server comes pre-installed in every osx device. There are also packages like MAMP, which make the configuration easier. A lot of companies/hospitals use Mac Pros as intranet web servers for database access etc.
I am also one of those mac web server users (not cd/dvd offline) and I would be grateful, if you could include an actualised version of the search.cgi for Mac.

We're aiming to make an OSX build of the search CGI in the coming week. We'll update this thread when it's available.

We now have an OSX build of search.cgi available here:
http://www.wrensoft.com/ftp/v7_search_cgi_osx.zip

It will be included in future builds of the Indexer package.
