    Thank for that!

We did some checking and it turned out our Zoom config was looking to the wrong directory for the process.

    All fixed now!

    Thanks

Zoom should already be clearing out any log files that are more than 1 month old.

This is determined by the "last write time" of the file. Are you using any script or process which may be affecting the log files last write time, and causing them to appear as if they're recently updated?

Otherwise it is no problem at all for you to clear those files once you have confirmed they're not being used by any live indexing sessions.

    Hi David,

    Thanks for the response.

Is there any risk if we create a script to remove any files older than 28 days from the /zoom/temp/ dir?
We have years of files in there and they are taking up a lot of space on our server.

    Regards,

    David

The log files are needed to display the log on the "Log" tab in the user interface.
So they need to be created.

But there are also additional logging options from the "Index Log" configuration window (to create permanent log files). These can be turned off.

    Suppress "core_index" logs

    Hi there,

Is there anyway to suppress or cycle the "core_index" logs that are create in the "/zoom/temp/" directory?

These logs seem to be created when the indexing process happens and I can't see any config settings to prevent them from being created.

    Regards,
    David
