Skip specific subfolders, but not all within a directory

We use offline mode for our search.

We have a _common folder that contains some pdfs we publish. It also contains some scripts, images, etc.

The way I read the manual, it will skip anything that contains part of the name.

If I enter
/_common/links/
in the skip box, will it also skip
_/common/documents/

/_common/links/
in the skip box, will it also skip
_/common/documents/

No. It will only skip paths which contain the first string, e.g.

C:\MyFiles\_common\links\mydoc.pdf
C:\MyFiles\SomeOtherFolder\_common\links.html
C:\_common\links_something.txt

These would all be skipped.
But not anything like your example.
