Zoom V7 scan option to support MS Office macro-enabled documents

Are there any plans to update plug-ins to support MS Office scan extensions for macro-enabled documents (.docm, .xlsm, .pptm ...)

.docm, .xlsm, etc. are maro enabled formats created by Office 2007 or later.

Although the extensions are not recognized in Zoom by default, they are actually supported since their format handles exactly like an "Office 2007" file.

To configure for their support in Zoom,
1) Under "Configure"->"Scan options", click "Add"
2) Specify the extension to add as ".docm"
3) Note that the drop down for the File type will say "Word document" at the moment. Change this to "Office 2007 file".
4) Click OK

You will now be able to index .docm files correctly.

You can do the same for ".xlsm" and ".pptm", make sure to change their File Type to "Office 2007 file" as well.
