Changing Order of Search Terms Changes Search Results

primera coilover - produce zero results and says too many results found

coilover primera - products 10 results

why is this happening and is there anything I can do to stop the order of the entered search terms making a difference?

It shouldn't make a difference unless you have quotation marks around the two search terms, i.e.
"coilover primera"

In which case you have exact phrase matching enabled (which you can disable under "Configure"->"Search Page").

If this isn't the case, can you give us the URL to your search page and we can take a look?

Also please let us know if you have modified the search scripts in any way.
