settings.php adds blank line at end; causes "output already sent" error.

I have v6.0.1028. When I create the search files, settings.php has a blank line at the end, after ?> which causes the error "output already sent...". I can hand-delete the line, but it needs to be fixed.

You're right, but it should only be an issue if charset enforcing is enabled. If you don't need this (and your server is specifying the correct charset/encoding) then go to "Configure"->"Advanced" and check the option to "Disable charset enforcing on search script". It should avoid the problem for now.
