Hello,

is it possible make a configuration to search results only in the particular folder of a website?

If you want to give the users of your site the ability to search the entire site or just one folder, then you can use the categories feature.

If you don't want to allow a choice, then you can just index the 1 folder to start with. e.g. use the folder name as the start point.

There shouldn't be any need to use a custom field to search a folder.

Thanks, the problem is i have for example 2 different folder of the same type but with different label:

- /news/ (in english)
- /notizie/ (in italian)

How can i insert /news/ and /notizie/ in a single Category?

You can specify multiple patterns separated by a semi-colon character. That is, the category pattern:

/news/;/notizie/

Will match against URLs for either folders.

And, if i insert a limit to index in the start point at 1000 pages, then, when i want make incremental index the software update only the actual index or insert other 1000 pages?

The max page limit you set should never be exceed. Even with incremental indexing. Index will terminate once the limit is reached.
