  • How to get separate results for 2 words that are 1 letter different

2 of the search terms used on my site are Magdalen and Magdalene. Entering either of these brings up results for both.
How can I get each word to return only its own results without affecting searches with any other terms?

    Thanks

This is because of the stemming feature, which programmatically determined that those words are derivatives of each other. This is typically useful for words like "fish", "fishes", "fishing", "fished", "fishes" and if you want those searches to be the same.

You can turn it off under "Configure"->"Languages" by unchecking the "Enable Stemming" feature. You will need to reindex for the change to take effect.
