recommended and synonyms

is it correct that synonyms does not work for recommended links? I have a bunch of common spelling mistakes setup for synonyms and they dont kick in if the correct spelling is a recommended link. I guess the work around is a recommended for each spelling variation. What a pain.

You are correct. You can find previous discussions here and here.

V7 (currently in alpha testing) supports multi-keywords and multi-phrases per recommended link so you can specify multiple words (separated by semi-colons) per link. But synonyms will still not apply for the reasons given in the latter previous thread.
