  • Case sensitive search.

I try to make my search case sensitive with no success.
I use "Support single-case languages" but it does not work.

Is there an other way to make the search case sensitive?

    Thanks
    Hadi

The "Support single-case languages" should make it case sensitive. Did you re-index and re-upload the search files?

I try with a blank config file and index part of your site to prevent any error.

You can see the result here:
      http://www.watches-for-china.com/Case/index.php?zoom_sort=0&zoom_query=Zoom
      http://www.watches-for-china.com/Case/index.php?Zoom_sort=0&zoom_query=zoom

Both request bring the same result.

I note that the URLs above are to a file called index.php.
This isn't the file we provide.
Can you see if the behavior is the same with our original search.php file.

It's the original file, I just rename it so the short URL work directly.
It's all from a new config with the last build.

Here's the same link with the original name...
          http://www.watches-for-china.com/Case/search.php?zoom_query=Zoom
          http://www.watches-for-china.com/Case/search.php?zoom_query=zoom

There's a link to the zcfg on the search page if you want to check.

You're right, we've confirmed this is a bug in the current public release. At some point of our internal dictionary restructuring and implementation of the stemming feature, we broke the single-case search functionality.

We have fixed this for the next release (V6.0 build 102. We will try to get this release out before the holiday break.
