Hi is it possible to have the search results displayed with an image and text description side by side. (V6)

Not quite sure what you mean going by your description alone.

This previous forum post of mine gives an example of using CSS to make the search results appear in a grid-like, image-only format:

I would recommend starting from there and playing with the CSS to try to achieve what you are after.
