utf-8 encoding display errors

In my search results registration marks have been showing up as black question marks and trade marks have been showing up as ". I have defined utf-8 on the source page and in the search settings. You can see what I'm talking about at http://www.wellnessresources.com/search/index.php?zoom_query=energy&zoom_cat[]=-1
I'm not quite sure where else the char set needs to be defined to make this display properly, can I get some help please?

We have confirmed this is a bug with the current release. A few UTF-8 entities are not being converted correctly (including &reg, &trade, &copy and &euro). This will be fixed in the next build (V6 build 1021).

Most likely sometime this month. Releases tend to depend on the number of critical bugs that need addressing, most of the ones so far are fairly minor. If you need a more urgent patch, please contact us.
