Indexing content of mySQL BLOB's

Is Zoom Search capable of indexing the content of PDF files stored as BLOB fields. I got the impression it could from another thread.
The following link is how a user would download the file...
Will this link work for Zoom to read the contents?

Yes, Zoom will index the PDF file served from that link fine.

When you use Spider Mode, Zoom will crawl the content as a web client, so it will only see what your server returns. Regardless of whether the file is stored in MySQL as a BLOB or otherwise, if the PHP script serves a PDF file and provides the correct Content-Type header to indicate its file type, then it will be indexed successfully. Since the link above is doing that, this is not a problem.
