    Possible to weight html/php over pdf

    Hello.... I would like matches in html, shtml and php pages to be preferred over those in PDFs... Possible?

    You can details of how the scoring system works here.

    The content density setting often has a significant impact on the ranking of PDF files (especailly if they are large files compare to the HTML files).

    It is also possible to directly boost or de-boost documents using the ZOOMPAGEBOOST tag.

      Thanks... possible in future version?

      Thanks... I will work with the tools as they are now, but a "weight by file extension" would be cool....

        We've thought about it in the past, but we've found the Content Density weighting to be reasonably effective and also more practical for people to specify. Try this adjustment first.

        We'll probalby have another look at it for a future release.
