Result Links wrong, extra #search text on URL

I am having a problem with the link my search results provide.

Instead of the correct file location linked to the result:
http://intranet/SOPs/3300/3315.01.pdf

I am seeing the following:
http://intranet/SOPs/3300/3315.01.pdf#search="sop"

Can anyone help me with my dilemma?

Those links are the same link, and should open the same document.

The difference in the 2nd link is that you have the PDF highlighting function turned on. (the #search="sop" paramter causes this word to be highlighted in the PDF).

If you wish to turn off PDF highlighting (so that the URLs will revert to the former style), you would do so via "Configure"->"Scan options"->Double click on ".pdf" and uncheck the option "Highlight and locate matched words within PDF document viewer".
