Sort search results by file type?

Hi Guys,

Is there a way to force certain file types to appear first in the search results? Specifically, I'd like Web pages (htm, html, php, etc) to appear before PDF files.

No, but you can setup categories for different file extensions. That way, your users can choose to specifically search for a file type they are after, which would be more useful than just sorting by extension.
