XML output and result number

Hello there,

this is maybe more a request then a problem..

in XML-output is no tag for the result number. Do i miss something or am i supposed to calculate it myself?

There is no result number per search result. This is to comply with OpenSearch standard for the XML format. To add this would have to be a proprietary tag which would have limited use. It should be pretty easy to calculate it yourself on post-processing though.

You can just count the nodes that are return. I am using the XML to reformat and display results in a grid for the end user which works great.
