Sub Folder Indexing - Forbiden error

Instead of indexing a URL such as http://www.mywebsit.com/, can I only index a sub folder such as:

http://www.mywebsit.com/MyFolder/

I have tried this but get an error "Forbiden"

Your server probably forbids directory listings. So you probably need to start indexing on an actual web page, which should link to the other pages. e.g.
http://www.mywebsit.com/MyFolder/start.html

Or you could enable directory listings on your server. Or use a directory listing script.

Or consider using Offline Mode if you have a copy of all the website files on your computer and you do not have any dynamically generated pages (e.g. no PHP or ASP pages)
