Oh, I just remembered there was a bug we fixed for the next release (V6.0 build 1009) which caused category order not to be applied until the configuration is saved. This might be why it's not working for you.Leave a comment:

They appear in the order of the Categories listing in your configuration. But note that after changing this order, you will need to re-index for it to take effect. This is also the same order that the categories appear in the dropdown list (unless you define your own search form).Leave a comment:

Category Order/ Refine your search by....
Hi,
I'm using V6 Pro 1008, Javascript.
I really like the addition of the "refine your search by..." to the search result page in V6!!
Is there a way to control which category displays first in the "refine your search by..." list? I tried moving them around in the Config file, but that didn't seem to have any effect..... I would like to have a specific categories always listed as first, second or third (I only have three).
