  • Code to stop page being indexed

Is there a code that I can add to the top of an html page to stop zoom indexing the page? I know that this can be done in the zoom config section.

First of all, yes, you can specify pages to skip in the Configuration window (under the "Skip Options" tab).

And yes, you can specify a and tag on your page to prevent content from being indexed. If you wish to prevent the entire page from being indexed, simply wrap the entire page within these two tags.

Thanks Raymond. I assume that wrapping the entire page within the tags means that goes before <HTML> and after</HTML>

Doesn't make a difference either way, just make sure it is before any actual content (eg. the page title), unless of course, if you want that content indexed.
