doc and pdf but when I select the file to view I get Page cannot be found
but i know it is on the server.

If you are indexing in Offline Mode, make sure your Base URL is correct. The result links are created depending on the base URL, and if this is incorrect, the links will point to the wrong place.

If you continue to have this problem, give us a URL to your search page so we can take a closer look. If this is not possible, at least give us some example URLs of where the pages are linking to, what URLs you are expecting and what base URL is specified in the Indexer.

We had a look at your website. As I had predicted in my original reply, you have an incorrect base URL. And to clarify, this problem is not limited to your PDF and DOC files. All of your search results are linked incorrectly.

            Your current base URL is:
            http://www2.oacas.org/search/

I presume you are using Offline Mode indexing. This causes all files found under your start directory to be specified as under the above base URL. For example, here are other results from your search page:
            http://www2.oacas.org/search/announcements/03/mar/index.htm
            http://www2.oacas.org/search/annualreport/index.htm
            http://www2.oacas.org/search/ldconference/index.htm

None of these URLs are correct, because your base URL was incorrect. Please consult ch 2.1.6 of the Users Guide (http://www.wrensoft.com/zoom/usersguide.html)

I was not able to find the actual location of the abovementioned files. I presume they are located somewhere else on the server. Please check your paths and determine exactly where they are. Give us some URLs to the files mentioned above if you need more help.

As an example, if the above files were actually located at these URLs:
            http://www2.oacas.org/announcements/03/mar/index.htm
            http://www2.oacas.org/annualreport/index.htm
            http://www2.oacas.org/ldconference/index.htm

Then you should use a base URL of:
            http://www2.oacas.org/

            I hope that helps.
