  • Question about not indexing certain sections of the page

Hello everyone. I was wondering if there's a way to tell Zoom NOT to index a certain section of the page. For example, at the bottom of each of my pages I have a list of related links, which might be 'Contact Us', etc.

Now when someone searches for 'contact', they pull up a ton of pages because that text appears in many of the 'Related Links' at the bottom of each page.

How can I tell the search engine not to index the specific content within a page? Is that possible?

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

      Sorry

Guess my search terms weren't found. I searched under 'prevent indexing' and didn't come up with anything.

      I'll check it out.

Just a quick note for others - it's also worth searching our FAQ and our main support site here:

Here is the relevant FAQ entry:

          Thanks

Your way is much nicer than good ol' Mr. Wrensoft. Sometimes it's not what you say... it's how you say it that keeps your customers coming back. Might want to remember that.
