  • More complex searches

I know that Zoom can support * and ?, but can it also support search commands like "or" or "but not." So for example, can Zoom properly do a search for "apple or oranges" (search for pages which contain either 'apple' or 'oranges' or both). Is there a search guide available for this topic? Thanks!

You can search for "apples or oranges" by entering a search for:

    apples oranges

And having "Match any search words" selected in the search form. By selecting "match all search words", you will be doing a boolean "AND" search, ie. "apples AND oranges".

We will also be introducing a "not" or exclusion search parameter in Version 5.0, which allows you to perform a search such as "apples -oranges" which would be equivalent to "apples (but NOT) oranges".
