How to make search results from forum rank last

Hi there

In our site's search results, I want everything from our forum to be ranked last, after everything else.

Our forum is in its own folder and all the forum pages have the words ' - Forum' in them. Maybe I can use either of these facts to rank these pages last?

How can I do this in v5 or is it possible in v6 - I can upgrade if necessary.

You can use the ZOOMPAGEBOOST meta tag (with a negative value) to decrease the ranking of the forum pages by adding it to the forum headers. See this FAQ page for more information:

You can also increase the weighting of your non-forum pages if necessary.

Remember to disable caching ("Configure"->"General" options->"Reload all files (do not use cache)") if you reindex immediately after adding these meta tags.
