  • User input parameters

I've looked through the user manual and forums but couldn't find any thing addressing this . . .

I'm wondering if there are any resources to instruct me on how to create a search form utilizing multiple user input parameters referencing category tags that I would apply to each page.

So for example a form with the following inputs:

    City (drop down selector)
    Zip code (text input)
    Category 1 (drop down)
    Category 2 (drop down)
    Category 3 (check box)
    Category 4 (check box)

Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide.

This is something for the new "Custom Meta Fields" feature to be found in the upcoming V6 release. A beta release is currently available in our V6 beta testing forum as well as more information. Here is a sample site that demonstrates this feature.

You should also realize there's more to it than just creating a search form. You need to actually tell the search engine what counts as a City, what values on your web pages are Zip codes, etc. This is explained in the V6 Help file, but we will put up a tutorial as well on this. More information here.
