Index PDF files. Free V.5.1 and PHP

Very old Newbie Tried indexing a web site and a CD containing PDF files.
No result. Have installed the Plug in for PDF files in the 'plugins' folder.
I'm using the Free version 5.1 and running with PHP.

I expect I'm being stupid but I've had years of practice at that.

Thaks for the reply. I just purchased the Standard edition Still doesn't seem to index PDF I do hope so because I certainly can't afford to go to the next (Pro?) version.

Make sure you have
1) installed the plug-ins.
2) Entered in your license key (so the Help /About window now says Standard Edition)
2) Add .PDF to the list of file type you want to index (on the scan options) tab.

Then if the files you expect to be indexed are not indexed see these FAQ.

Thanks. Working OK. Some problems with words in a file not being indexed but will post again if I can't find out why.
