  • No index not no indexing

I've included the no index meta tag on several pages but they're still showing up in search results. Not sure why and I need some guidance.

As an example, go to: http://www.icdmeister.com/subscriber_test/
and use the box in the upper left corner to search for the term unconsciousness.

If you click on the 2nd search result and view the source you'll see the noindex meta tag. Why is it still showing up as a search result?

I want the Zoom spider to follow the links on the page but not to index it's content.

Make sure you have checked the option to "Reload all pages (do not use cache)" if you have only recently added this tag to your web page. Otherwise, Zoom may be indexing from a cached copy of the page.

If you turn on Verbose Mode, Zoom will report the following in the log when it scans the page in question:

    Code:
Not indexing content on page: http://www.icdmeister.com/subscriber_test/spider/neuro_most_common.htm (meta robots "noindex" tag found)
I just tried it here and it detected this fine, and it was not indexed.
