  • zoom isn't indexing my PDF files...I'm using a javascript

I've beenn trying (unsuccessfully) to get zoom to index my .PDF files...all of my PDF files are opened using a javascript file (a new browser window opens to view the files)...does this make a difference??
Do I need to delete all of these javascripts?
Or, can I make a correction somehow?

You'll want to take a look at this FAQ:
    Q. Why are links in my Javascript menus being skipped?

Simply put, if you have links that are only visible within Javascript code, then these links are not spider friendly. People who are using browsers with JS disabled or a browser which does not support the JS code you use, would also be unable to get to these files. See the FAQ above for a solution involving the <noscript> tag to address this.

If you don't have any dynamic pages (e.g. PHP or ASP files), you could also consider using Offline Mode to index your site - in which case, it would not be necessary to have spider friendly links, since Zoom will be able to find all the files from your file system directly.
