documents on other server

Hi All,

Just installed Zoom, its great but i have a little problem, our site has a central repository site where all documents are link to. ie. the pdfs and docs are on another website.

Is there a way to get zoom to scan these documents on another site i allow??

Yes. If you are using Spider Mode, and you need the spider to follow links to a different domain, you can do this by specifying multiple base URLs. This allows you to specify more than one base URL or domain name for the crawler to follow links to.

See chapter 2.1.16 of the Users Guide for more information.

Hi Raymond, thanks for the tip, I also noticed that i didnt have follow external links on either. Working like a charm now..

Just a quick note that you should check the Help files as to whether you really want the follow external link option. Remember that this means any external link, including ones that point to other sites.
