    CGI Front End

Hi, have been using Zoom 4.2 for along time with no problems. We now want to also distribute a copy of our website on Cd as it is heavily product based.

Have installed the cgi FrontEnd without problems and can index and see results, the problem I have comes with the "base url" for a CD. On my machine the cd would be E: I can add the remainder of the path and all is ok.

But what about other machines, Eg if we send a Cd to a customer who has the Cd as D: or F: Etc ?, is there some form of universal derivative ?.

You need to use a relative path, not an absolute path.

    e.g.
    ../
    rather than
    e:/

In addition to the above FAQs, you should also consult the Users Guide. There is a chapter dedicated to explaining this in the Appendix.
