  • Schedule Zoom Indexer each 30 minutes

    Hi,

I would like to know how can I schedule Zoom indexer to index page each 30 minutes.

    I try this :

    - Tools/Schedule automatic indexing
    - Add task (Spider mode)
    - Set Schedule Daily
    - Advanced : Repeat task every 30 minutes, Duration 1 hour(s)
    ...

    just do in once ...

    thx

Please see the Troubleshooting section on the Scheduling support page:
    http://www.wrensoft.com/zoom/support/scheduling.html

Some other information would help: what Status is reported in Windows Scheduling, which version of Windows you are using, etc.

      Hi,

I'm still not able to make it work.

I'm using Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition.

In the ScheduledTask, the Status is set to blank and if I right click and run it, it's always said that the Next Run Time is at 9:00 AM but it's supposed to be the actual time + 30 minutes...

I try to check "Run only if logged" ... nothing change ...

Now, it's run correctly once a day, but what I want, it's every 30 minutes ...

      thx

We have tested this on Windows Server 2003 and were unable to reproduce any problem with scheduling Zoom to run every 30 minutes.

The Windows Scheduled Tasks work independently of Zoom, so if it is giving you a "Next Run Time" that is not what you expect, then it is most likely that you have configured the schedule incorrectly.

This page has a good step by step tutorial that shows how to schedule a task to run every 30 minutes:
        http://www.david-taylor.myby.co.uk/s...led-tasks.html

If you still have trouble, you can try scheduling another application (e.g. Notepad) and see if you can get that to work successfully.
