Titles of pdfs should show in listing results, yes?

    Assuming:

    1. "Plugin options > Use meta information from plugins" is CHECKED

    2. "Scan extensions > Use .desc files for plugin extensions" is UNCHECKED

Shouldn't the titles of PDF's (i.e., the text entered in the "Title" field under the PDF's Document Properties) be showing up as the titles of PDF in the search results?

I currently get the PDF file name as the title for all PDFs. The same PDFs indexed by Atomz.com correctly show the title data (just happen to be using Atomz.com as a test.)

Check if you are using the latest build of Zoom (Version 4.0 Build 1016). You can check this by clicking on "File"->"About". The latest build is available from here:
    http://www.wrensoft.com/zoom/whatsnew.html

Also make sure you have "Title of page" selected for indexing (under the "Indexing Options" tab).

If you continue to have this problem, let us know and email us your ZCFG file (zoom [at] wrensoft [dot] com).

Thank you for your quick response. I am using the Zoom Dreamweaver Extension for Dreamweaver MX

It indicates "Version 4.0 (Build 1004)".

Is there a more recent version of the extension? I downloaded the present one from here:

FTR: The stand-alone version 4.1 (Build 1016) shows titles in search results as expected/desired. So it appears to be a idiosyncracy of the DW extension.

Just to clarify, the latest build for the stand-alone version is Version 4.0 (build 1016). I typo'ed in my previous post above (which I've since edited).

And you're right, the DW extension on our website appears to be out of date. The latest DW extension available should be Version 4.0 (Build 1012), we've now updated it here:
          http://www.wrensoft.com/zoom/support/dreamweaver.html

The above extension should fix your problem.

We plan to update the DW extension again when we release Version 4.1. This is due in a couple more weeks time.
