Log file help please!

Hi,

I have read http://www.wrensoft.com/zoom/support/logging.html about how to set up the logging yet I am still having problems.

I have created the logs directory within the directory where the search page is located and have not created a searchlog. When a search is made for the first time, the searchlog is created within the correct folder, however nothing is written inside it, and I still obtain the Unable to write to log file .... error.

To the best of my knowledge, I have given permissions to all users so this shouldnt be a problem either. Can anyone help me?

Odd that you say the script creates the log file but is unable to write to it. Can you tell us if you are hosting on an Apache or IIS server and on which O/S? How are you setting your permissions and checking for the existance of the log file?
