Odd Behavior Spidering Multiple Sites

I am indexing 2 intranet sites (http://pchelp and http://robohelp) via spider. When tell it to JUST index http://robohelp, it spins for 1min+ then gives me an accurate index. When I tell it to index http://pchelp, THEN index http://robohelp, it indexs all of http://pchelp, then stops indexing somewhere in the middle of http://robohelp. I'm well under the max files limit, and the log file donesn't indicate any errors.

We would like to test it from here, but as this is a intranet site this isn't possible.

Does it really stop in the middle of the last line, without printing the "h" in the word "Splas"?

Does Zoom totally freeze, can you click on the stop button?

Does the CPU seem to be maxed out after the freeze (sitting on 50% or 100%)?

What O/S are you using?

What version of Zoom are you using?

here's what i got

Zoom gives zero error msgs, and finishes like it normally does
The CPU is fine
Windows XP Pro
Zoom 5.1 version 1008
Limits is set to 200000 and 200000
All indexing works GREAT when I just spider one of these sites
The log file stopped in a similar location:

Hmm... so it stops on a different file this time? And each time, it stops in the middle of writing out that file name?

When you say that "Zoom gives zero error msgs, and finishes like it normally does" - I presume you mean that, only after you manually clicked on "Stop indexing", and the index files are actually written out.

While we are unable to determine the exact cause of this error at this moment, we have made some recent bug fixes relating to the HTTP downloading code. This may or may not be related. The new build (V5.1 build 1009) will be available soon (today or tomorrow) with this fix in place, so you should try that and let us know if the problem persists.
