Zoom 5.1 access violation error while adding page to existing index

I have been trying to add a page to an existing index, and have been getting a error message regarding a access violation.

I've attached a link to a screenshot of the error.

How can I add this page if it cant be spidered?

That URL is returning a 404 file not found error. So I can't see what you mean exactly.

But the first thing to check is whether you are using the latest build of Zoom. You can find this on our What's New page:
http://www.wrensoft.com/zoom/whatsnew.html

You can find the latest version and build number of your current installed copy by clicking on "Help"->"About".

I can email you the screenshot if you'd like, if I refresh the page after the 404 the image comes up fine.

I downloaded the latest version 5.1 (1006) and I'm still getting the same error.

Yes, please e-mail us the screenshot.

Also, can you zip up and send us the index files you are trying to incrementally add to, and include a copy of your ZCFG file you are using. And provide the URL you are adding as well so we can try to reproduce this.

Thanks wingnut. The files helped us find the cause of the crash and we have now released a new build which includes a fix for this (amongst other changes and bug fixes) in V5.1 build 1007.

You can download the latest build from here:

You will need to perform a complete re-index with the new build before attempting any incremental updates.

Please let us know if you have any problems with the new build.
