  • DEBUG Statements Appearing in Search results?

When I call search.php from a form I get the following output:

    ****************
    END PARAM INIT.

    Search this site

Enter one or more keywords to search for using the Zoom Search Engine.
Note that '*' and '?' wildcards are supported.
    Search for: Results per page: 10 20 50 100

Match: any search words all search words

    LOADING INDEX FILES.PAGETEXT OPENED.RECLINKS OPENED.PAGEINFO LOADED.PAGEDATA LOADED.WORDMAP LOADED.DICT OPENED: now reading 256 at a time.DICT CLOSEDDICT LOADED.PREPARE QUERY.
    Search results for: team

GOT TO MAIN SEARCH LOOP. 275 results found.

    28 pages of results.

    ***********************

Notice the statements in CAPITAL letters. How do I eliminate these statements?

Wow. I hope we haven't screwed up. We'll check.

But in the meantime. What version of Zoom are you using? When did this start happening? Did you edit our script at all?

I just checked all our public release scripts and none of them have the debug messages above. I do suspect that your script has been modified and the debug messages were added in by yourself or someone else who is working on your website. Check with your colleagues if necessary.

As mentioned above, it would also help if you can give us the version (and build) of Zoom you are using. If you have modified the script source beyond repair, you can of course, restore the original search script by reinstalling from a fresh download.
