Cannot get it to search DWF, .desc files.

Created a text file same name as the dwf with the extension .desc appended to the end. Configured the DWF plug in to "Use desciption (.desc) files".

Only the dwf, which is in the same folder, is being indexed. At least the indexing log file shows only a .dwf was indexed.

Any ideas as to what we are doing wrong?

Are your DWF files being referenced by your site.?
Are you using Spider or Off-Line mode.?

Yes the dwf's are referenced. It is being indexed offline, no spidering.

I have been trying more things and i am having problems with pdf's also.

Indexing states
Skipping D:\...dwf (Plugin failed)
Skipping D:\...dwf.desc (Blocked by extensions list)

I am pretty sure the plugin or Zoom automatically associates the .desc file. I do not put .desc in the scan extensions right?

We got your e-mails Mike, and have confirmed that this is a bug in the current version of the software (V5.1 build 1003). It is failing to pickup ".desc" files for DWF files specifically. It should, however, not have a problem with your PDF files.

This bug will be fixed in the next release, as part of build 5.1.1004.
