Search result preferance order...

I am currently indexing lots of HTML and PDF files. The PDFs are whitepapers that are related to the HTMLs.

Is there a way I can set my search/results to list the HTML files before the PDF ones.!

There is some information and tips about how to adjust the rankings of the results in the FAQ. Plus some previous posts

In particular, note the "Content density" feature mentioned in the FAQ linked above. That is designed largely for this purpose (to give priority to smaller HTML pages over large PDF documents).
