  • Bug? Category with accent / form generation

    1. I'm using Zoom v5 1005, and have created a category name containing an accented character (é).

On generating an Advanced form, in which the Category names are selectable, the accented character does not appear to be displayed properly.

    2. It would be nice if multiply selectable catagories, could optionally be shown as a drop-down selection field, rather than checkboxes.

    Regards,
    Ian Tresman

1.) Make sure you have the same/correct charset specified in your "search_template.html" page, as well as the matching encoding selected on the "Languages" tab of the Configuration window in Zoom. We could not reproduce the problem using default settings and the windows-1252 charset.

2.) You can do this by creating your own search form, see the section titled "Defining a search form for a categories enabled website" for this FAQ.
