Weightings To Specific File Types

Is it possible to give higher weightings to specific file types - Have .html documents listed before .pdf documents in the search results. Can this be done?

We generally recommend using the "Content density" adjustment option to achieve this. This can be found on the "Weightings" tab of the Configuration window.

This setting allows you to give preference to small/medium sized files, and prevents PDF files from swarming the results (as they are often large and contain many words).

Alternatives would be to use the ZOOMBOOST meta tag, and add this to every file that you wish to increase priority/weighting to. You can also specify a negative value for files that you wish to decrease weighting.
