Hi,
I have a question about searching in categories.

Is there a way to search for something that is in two or more selected categories, that must be in both categories, not just one or the other? (A join, instead of a union.)

You can search for something that appears in any of the two or more selected categories (by enabling "Allow searching in multiple categories"), but no, you can not search for something that appears in all of the specific categories (a "join", as you say) at the moment.
