Using v5 beta 14b, I note that the PDF meta description field is truncated in the results layout to 150 characters. Can this be configured to an alternative size, or no size?
There is a setting on the limits tab of the Zoom configuration window that allows you to select how much of the meta description field to store. This effects all files not just PDF files. You can increase this beyond 150 characters if you like, at the cost of a slightly larger set of index files.

Found it! Thanks. Perhaps the limit could be duplicated on the Results Layout page, where the Context limit is specified.
The meta description limit is not on the Results Layout tab because this limit affects the amount of data indexed. The results layout tab settings only controls what is displayed in the results. That means changing your Context Limit does not affect what you can or can not search for, while changing the meta description length on the Limits tab can affect this.
