    FTP suggestion for V5

    Hi,

I don't know if this has already been done but would it be possible to put in some kind of validation for FTP before it lets you index?

If you make a typo in the username/password/path for example it is quite annoying doing a large index and then finding it hasn't uploaded.

    cheers

If the FTP upload fails, you can always manually upload the files using a 3rd party tool, or select the Tools / FTP Upload File menu option in Zoom if you have just completed the indexing.

If a FTP login fails (or any part of the FTP process fails), you should be able to re-upload with Zoom without having to re-index your website. Just click on "Tools"->"FTP upload files to server" and fix up your login details and try again.

The only exception is if it failed to upload, and then you quit the Indexer. In that case, no it will not allow you to re-upload within Zoom since it has no recollection of your previous index.
